SRAM's Force DoubleTap Control Levers offer a competitive advantage that can't be touched since you're able to shift from the hoods, drops, and even when sprinting. They're crafted with carbon and magnesium to create a system so light that it won't slow you down whether you're racing for prizes, bragging rights or World Championships. Plus, the single-lever-shifting design allows for fast, smooth shifts while being completely independent of the brake levers, eliminating the possibility of braking when you shift. The front shifter uses Zero-Loss technology, when shifting, the cable is engaged instantly for precise gear changes. And both levers incorporate the popular reach adjust feature that allows you dial in exactly where your levers are in relation to your bars.

SRAM seems to have hit a home run with their first road shifter. I love the way the levers fit my hands, shift, and function in general. And they're beautiful and lighter than Dura Ace to boot. My only complaint is that they have no replaceable top caps like Shimano levers. The nice thing about Shimano's design is that if you take a header and scrape up your levers, the brake hoods and replaceable top caps take the brunt of the punishment, and as a result replacing both almost gets your levers back to new. I wonder how scraped up these will get the first time I lay my new bike down. I guess I just can't crash, eh?
