This just in from Victor Velo:
Kick off your cyclocross season in Victor, ID this Saturday at Grand Teton Brewing! Our first race of the season, Kross Kickoff, is being held in conjunction with Oktoberfest.
Mountain bikes are welcome and you don’t need to be a hardcore racer to enjoy cyclocross. You can anything for 45 minutes, right? Not into racing? Please come to watch, ring a cowbell, and madly cheer on the racers as they come by. Cyclocross is the most spectator friendly form of cycling. Directions: From highway 33 turn north onto Baseline Rd. Continue straight past Old Pass Rd. Turn left into the new parking area. Registration: All kids & juniors race FREE!
Adults: $15 for a single race, $5 extra for day-of-race registration. Register online at Athlete360.
Race Schedule:
2:30 PM – Kid’s Race – 1 modified lap – Kids of all ages are welcome
2:50 PM – Masters 35+/45+ (scored separately) – 45 min
3:40 PM – Women’s 1/2/3/4 – 45 min
4:30 PM – Mens’ 4/5 & 1/2/3 (scored separately) – 45 min
