Cache Creek to Game Creek Mountain Bike Race

Pre-race meeting:  5:00 p.m.  Race start:  5:15 p.m.

Race start location:  Mike Yokel Park

$30 through July 6. Race day registration increases to $37.  Race registration deadline is 1:00 p.m. on

July 7or when race reaches maximum capacity of 75 participants.    Entry fee includes a race t-shirt, post race snacks and the opportunity to win great raffle prizes.

Race registration is limited to the first 75 riders to register.  Registration takes place at the Teton County/Jackson Recreation Center located at 155 East Gill Street in Jackson.  Mail in entries may be sent to TCJP&RD, P.O. Box 811, Jackson, WY  83001. Incomplete entries or entries without payment will not be processed.  TCJP&RD 307-739-9025.

The course is approximately 12 miles in length.  The race begins at Mike Yokel Park, 450 East Kelly Street in Jackson.  The race will begin with a controlled start through town.  The course will travel up Cache Creek, over Game Creek Divide to the finish in lower Game Creek.  Please note that traffic will not be stopped along the race course.  Bikers are required to follow all traffic laws.  The course is a combination of pavement, gravel road and single track trail.  The race course includes a section of newly reconstructed (June, 2010) trail in Game Creek Canyon.

All participants must wear helmets.  Participants are responsible for their own repairs.  Transportation back to Jackson is not provided.  Riders should be prepared to bike back to town or arrange a shuttle from Game Creek.  Racers are reminded that the Cache Creek and Game Creek trails are shared use trails and bikers must yield to all other users when training for and participating in this race.  Please be respectful of other trail users.  IMBA Rules of the Trail should be observed at all times.
