Our Weekly Group Rides

Group rides are a big part of the scene at Fitzgerald's Bicycles...why else would we have built the best espresso bar in Victor?  Whether you are new to cycling or an old pro, there is a ride that's right for you.  Fitzgerald's Bicycles is conveniently located across the street from the paved Victor to Driggs bike path, we have gravel road rides from the shop, in winter we groom our own fat bike trails in connection with the local nordic grooming association, and we offer group rides around all those amenities and more.  Rides require, at minimum, an appropriate bike in good working order, a helmet and gear appropriate to the seasons and conditions. We suggest a spare tube, energy food, a little cash (in case we stop), and your biggest smile! Many rides are held subject to weather.  It's a good idea to confirm dates, time and any specific requirements before heading out to join us.  Hope to see you soon!

2016 Winter Group Rides:

Fat Tuesdays:  6:15pm - Fat bike ride on groomed trails, required front and rear lights, and temperature specific clothing.  Rental bikes available, call ahead to reserve 208-787-2453.

Wednesday Trainer Class: 6:00pm - Free classes if you bring your own bike and trainer, $5 for a trainer rental, $5 for a bike rental.  All levels welcome, ride at your own pace from snail to race.

Around the Rock Ride

This is an annual 'RIDE' of passage leaving from Fitzgerald's Bicycles each year on the Solstice Weekend. We'll head clockwise around The Rock (The Grand Teton) on a 50/50 mix of gravel and pavement. 154 miles, 6000 feet of climbing and TOTALLY doable for the average fit rider.

Whether you Ride for speed or ride for the accomplishment it doesn't matter. The beers taste just as good after!
